Making Macbeth Easy

Introduction

Hello, and welcome to Making Macbeth Easy. Right now you have probably been reading the play Macbeth, and maybe you are a little confused. That is perfectly fine. I was incredibly confused when I started reading Macbeth as well.  The playwright of Macbeth is William Shakespeare. A playwright is the person who has written a play. In this case, the playwright is William Shakespeare. Mabeth was written in an entirely different time period than today. Therefore, most of the language used in the play is not commonly used today. However, you don't have to know Shakespearean vocabulary to understand what Macbeth is about. Throughout this website, I will show you the synopsis, cast, set, objective, obstacle, storyline, and finale of Macbeth. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this website. I made it for you.

Synopsis

Macbeth is a play about a man, Macbeth who hears a prophecy from three witches that says he will become the king. The problem is that there already is a king, King Duncan, and he has heirs! The throne is seemingly unattainable at the time. However, that doesn't stop Lady Macbeth, Macbeth's wife from trying to get the throne for her husband. She convinces Macbeth he would make a wonderful king and tells him she will help him. Therefore, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth kill the king and every heir they can. Soon, Macbeth is the king. However, one man is particularly unhappy about all of this, MacDuff. Also, Macbeth was told in a prophecy that he could not be harmed by anyone woman-born. Unfortunately for Macbeth, MacDuff was "untimely ripped", so MacDuff could kill Macbeth. Macbeth and MacDuff fight in a big battle to the death, and MacDuff kills Macbeth by beheading him and becomes king.
